Director of Sales and Marketing

 Job Description

As a Director of Sales and Marketing, you would be responsible for leading and directing the development and implementation of strategic sales and marketing plans and initiatives in the resort's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

· Lead and direct the development and implementation of strategic sales and marketing plans and initiatives to include, but not limited to, interacting with clients and the media, directing solicitation efforts, securing business, operating information management systems, preparing and presenting statistical and performance reports and managing all financial aspects of the operation

· Partner with the Revenue Management team to include, but not limited to, determining sales pricing strategies, developing rates, establishing group thresholds, determining space utilization policy, deploying competitive data strategies, conducting demand analysis, and managing market mix

· Utilize and apply current technology and systems effectively, more specifically marketing through social media

· Monitor and develop team member performance to include, but not limited to, providing supervision and professional development, scheduling, conducting counseling and evaluations and delivering recognition and reward

· Plan, implement and manage marketing and lead generation campaigns and measure results

· Liaise and work closely with digital marketing and PR agencies

· Oversee the creation of marketing materials

· Ensure company websites and blog are kept up to date

· Lead, direct and oversee all PR and press relations, including crisis management response

· Develop, lead, and manage sales team: tele-sales, direct sales and indirect/ partner sales

Skills and abilities

· A degree in business administration, marketing, or related field

· A proven track record in marketing and sales leadership

· Knowledge and experience of a wide range of marketing and sales techniques and concepts, including online/digital marketing across channels

· Knowledge and experience in managing diverse sales models and teams (also indirect)

· Strategic planning skills: ability to develop, manage and implement strategy and plans

· Strong organizational, leadership and team management skills (having led diverse team)

· Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills

· Enthusiastic and creative

· Analytic ability, good quantitative/ financial skills both for analyses and budget management

· Experience within healthcare or the hospitality services industry

· Motivated to be evaluated and rewarded for results (KPI based)

· Vietnamese national with international outlook, excellent English

· Experiences in Media crisis management
